The type-II bypass assembly is a new technology to the backflow industry. As more manufacturers begin to utilize this technology it is only a matter of time before it’s widely used and is more commonly seen than the old type-I bypass assembly. We created this video to provide a clear explanation on how the type-II bypass provides the EXACT same level of protection as a type-I bypass as well as some of the similarities and differences between the two. California American Fire Sprinkler Association's Apprenticeship Training Program

This week Backflow Direct introduced the Deringer to the students of the California American Fire Sprinkler Association's Apprenticeship Training Program. This program provides an excellent opportunity for apprentices and field technicians to advance their knowledge on Fire Sprinkler Systems by learning from skilled and experienced journeyman and supervisory personnel. We would like to thank Dave, John and Lorelei of the CAFSA for having us and we hope to have an opportunity to work with them again soon!
