Today Backflow Direct exhibited at the 2015 Ohio Water Environment Annual Conference and Trade Show. The show provided a great opportunity to speak with Municipal Water Professionals, Engineers and Operators. Backflow Direct is pleased to announce the next addition to our team of associates, Chris & CJ Hart with United Backflow Solutions. United Backflow Solutions will oversee the state of Florida promoting the Deringer line to contractors & backflow professionals, gaining approvals with municipalities and water authorities as well as being an approved warranty service provider.

Chris was introduced to the backflow industry in the late 1980’s when Wilkins hired his independent rep firm, Hart & Reichert Associates, to promote their backflow preventer lines. After more than a decade of success in the irrigation and plumbing backflow markets, Chris and his firm assisted in the development of the fire protection and waterworks backflow markets in the southern regions of Florida. During the recession in the late 2000’s, Hart & Reichert Associates parted ways with Wilkins and led Chris and his son CJ to establish United Backflow Solutions in 2010. United Backflow Solutions was created as a sales and marketing firm strictly dedicated to marketing and selling the next generation of backflow preventers. Utilizing their passion for the product, knowledge and experience United Backflow Solutions has had major success in introducing new and innovative backflow preventers to their local market and beyond.

We are very excited to be working with United Backflow Solutions and look forward to a successful relationship between our companies. Welcome to the program guys!

Backflow Direct is pleased to announce the newest member to our associate program, Scot McEwen with Backflow Engineering Group, Inc. Scot will be covering the state of Georgia promoting the Deringer line to contractors & backflow professionals, gaining approvals with municipalities and water authorities as well as being an approved warranty service provider.

In 1985, Backflow Engineering Group was established shortly after Scot received his initial backflow testing certification from Dr. Palmer at the NETTI institute and was the first commercial plumbing and mechanical firm in Georgia to be dedicated solely to backflow testing, repair and installation. For many years, Scot has played a major role in the development of the cross connection control program in Georgia. From serving on the State of Georgia Environmental Protection Division panel to create a statewide curriculum for backflow testing certification, to chartering the current “Peach State 1788” chapter of ABPA, to teaching certification courses at state colleges and training facilities to future backflow and water professionals, Scot continues to be a driving force behind cross connection control regulation and education.

We are excited to be working with someone with the same passion for backflow we have and look forward to a successful relationship between our companies. Welcome to the program Scot!
